Ask Claude questions with your real numbers.

Violet Codex includes a Model Context Protocol server that runs on your machine. When you enable it, Claude Desktop or Claude Code can read a snapshot of your finances and answer questions with your real numbers. The snapshot is encrypted on disk, read-only, and regenerated by the app. The feature stays off until you turn it on. A local connection does not make Claude offline: information shared with Claude is processed by its AI provider under your account’s terms.

Questions it can answer

Can I afford a trip without touching the emergency fund. Where did my net worth change last quarter. Which subscriptions am I paying for on autopilot. When is the car loan gone if I pay extra. Am I on pace for the down payment goal.

How it works

Open Settings, then Connections, and choose Enable. Restart Claude once after the first install. Ask a question; every number comes from the snapshot. Choose Disconnect at any time to remove the snapshot and revoke the token.

What it does not do

It cannot write to your data. It does not send anything to Violet Codex. It does not run unless you enable it. Claude runs under your own Anthropic account and terms.
