Manage Debt With Clarity

Credit cards should not be a black box. In Violet Codex, you add your cards, track utilization and APR, make payments from your bank accounts, and keep a detailed log of every transaction.

Step 1: Add a Credit Card

Navigate to Credit Cards and click Add Card. Enter the card name, current balance, credit limit, APR, and minimum payment. The app automatically calculates your utilization ratio — keeping this under 30% helps your credit score.

Step 2: Track Utilization

The credit card overview shows utilization for each card and your total across all cards. Color-coded indicators highlight when you are approaching concerning thresholds (30% and 50% utilization).

Step 3: Make Payments

Use the Pay From feature to make payments from any linked bank account. One action reduces the card balance and deducts from the bank account — both sides stay in sync automatically.

Step 4: Log Transactions and Import Statements

Log individual purchases, or import in bulk from your bank's CSV statement download. Each transaction gets categorized so you can see exactly what your credit card spending looks like by category.
